MRI Pulse Sequence Design
Hi
I am a student in Medphysics track and am deeply intrested in MRI pulse sequence design . I wanted to know if someone could comment about taking MRI sequence design as a career and what is the scope of the research in future. Would the designers be dispensible if once the desired requirements are met ?
Thanking you

Claustrophobia
I 'm claustrophobic and supposed to get an MRI examination of the liver.
The second problem consists in my weighting of 150 kg. I heard about the open MRI devices. Who is also not a lightweight and has experience with an open MRI examination of the liver?

This can be solved by negative oral contrast
agents; some juices have also the effect to darken the stomach and bowel and can also be used as a contrast medium.
This prevents that liquid disturbs the image in the stomach and intestine field.

Funny picturebooks declare the examination and can take the fear. But for very young children a sedation is the best way.
