"Gadolinium Enhanced MRI" safety question?
Is having 2 separate "Gadolinium Enhanced MRI's" within 3 days safe? I have a Gd-MRI for my SI joint scheduled. 3 days later I have another Gd-MRI for my brain. I don't have kidney problems.

Gadolinium - blood brain barrier
Does Gadolinium cross blood brain barrier? I am having a neck and spine MRI with Gaolinium contrast for detection of CSF leak. Can intravenous vein administration of Gadolinium get into the neck and spinal cord?

Contrast on an 3T
Studies (for example http://pubs.rsna.org/doi/full/10.1148/radiol.2373041672 , http://pubs.rsna.org/doi/full/10.1148/rg.287075154 ) suggest that contrast enhancement of gadolinium is increased at higher field strengths. That can be used to lower the dose or receive higher contrast effects. It also depends on the contrast sensitivity of the used sequences and the examined body part.

Is het possible to give less contrast of Gadolinium on a 3T scanner than on a 1.5T scanner?
