GE FRFSE echo train length
I've been told that when using FRFSE the ETL should be an odd number. Is this true and if so why? Thanks.

MRI Magnet Room Cameras?
The system is simple to use, but d@mn helpful. It comes with instructions, and even then I can be a bit thick, so I've called for help with the stereo bit. They didn't mind helping me out over the phone, and when we found the problem I realized how little I use technology outside of my field.rnrn The install took about an hour and a half, but the engineer for our building said it was easy - and that didn't cut too bad into scan time. We just made sure it was a slow day when we decided to install. rnrn We went through this company: SoundImaging.com We had used them for upgrades and parts before, so we knew who we were talking to and that we could trust the equipment.

Status post hernia surgery?
I have always waited 4 weeks s/p hernia repair. This is mainly to give the body time to build up scar tissue.

Siemens CINE Sequence details
Hello there fellow NMR enthusiasts, I have a question regarding the CINE-Sequence that a Siemens 3 T scanner does, in particular I am interested in the retro iPAT sequence. What I want to know is what the exact parameters are.
For example, I have set a TR of 2.7 ms, but the actual recording time of one scan is close to 300 ms. Why is that? What else gets added to this time?
If anyone has links to useful information about sequences, then I am more than happy to check them out.
Regards, Glad

Stent Safety and repeated MRI exposure
We have a anesthesia tech that has a stent in her aorta. The stent is safe at 1.5t. She at times needs to stay in the MRI room with a patient during the scan. She may do this several times a month. Is there any long term effect? Can the stent become magnetized over time? Cannot find any documented information.
