Looking for Volumetric MRI |
I am able to do automated volumetric processing of 3d MPRAGE 1.5 T and 3.0 T data using an FDA approved technique. Your patient data could be obtained anywhere and could be uploaded to me.
I have access to equipment to perform the MRI scans in Dallas, LaFayette LA, Colorado, Washington state and Hawaii and can negotiate a price with the imaging centers. For other locations you will have to arrange to the have scans done yourself.

MRI Spinal Ligaments |
I am a graduate student conducting research on spinal ligament mechanics. I am looking for a good imaging sequence to determine the geometry of the supraspinous ligament. I am working with cadaver specimens so patient motion and scan time is of little relevance. I am just looking to get the highest resolution possible so that I can render a 3d volume of the supraspinous ligament. I am using a GE Signa HDx 3T. Thanks.

MRI/CT Technologist |
New to this forum! I've been a registered technologist for 20+ years in X-ray, CT and MRI. I've been working for outpatient imaging centers and even owned my own facility for 5years and looking for doing something else in this field other than being the operator. Any suggestions?

Feridex/endorem and bone MRI |
Some experiments with superparamagnetic contrast agents such as Feridex/Endorem with labeled cells showed a black appearance on T2 weighted sequences, which was easy to see. The less dominant T1 effect, bright on T1 weighted images was more subtle. (I found this also interesting http://www.nature.com/nm/journal/v7/n11/full/nm1101-1241.html and the article 'MR and iron magnetic nanoparticles. Imaging opportunities in preclinical and translational research' on http://www.tumorionline.it/cerca.php )
