Omniscan Distribution Rate |
I do not doubt that there are small and may be in special cases (perfusion, MRA, etc.) useful differences.
However, I have a lot of practice in MRI and in my opinion, you are right, the differences are small and you can run every type of MRI scans with all conventional Gadolinium containing contrast agents.

Export Raw Data |
In our institution we work on a Siemens Magnetom Sympony. My question is: is there a way to export raw data? In order to load .dat files in a in-house written IDL software.
Thanks

Omniscan Distribution Rate |
I was told by the GE rep that Omniscan has a faster distribution rate, that should lend itself to better images/application to specific technologies. Is this claim valid? This is the first I've heard of this type "spin" on contrast agents. <pun intended>
In my experience, I have not seen much difference in image quality from various contrast agents. Any thoughts or experiences are appreciated.

Have you tried check through E Bay's half.com? I found my copy (used) through the site. The book is very good thus I am unwilling to part with it.

ARMRIT?? |
In my opinion I think you should persue the current situation you have right now. unless you want to do different modality. I have been a member of ARMRIT since 97 and I have count my blessings with them. You will encounter a lot of discouragement with those so called "RT's" I've been there and I have worked my butt-off to be where am at now. I can performed all types of exam in MRI and currently training a lot of RT's.
A lot of places recognize ARMRIT just like RDMS in ultra sound.
My advise to you, continue your path to success and best of luck.
