Contrast MRA COW.
ITS REALLY NOT NECESSARY TO ROUTINELY DO CE MRA OF THE "COW". BY UTILIZING A 3D SPOILED FAST GRE THEN MANUALLY RECONSTRUCTING THE MIP THE ARTERIES ARE SUFFICIENTLY ENHANCED.

Metalic particles into the cornea
For my personal opinion, it is not to expect that these microscopic steel particles are a contraindication for an MRI of the head. An injury of the patient by dislocation or
torque presents not a real risk because of the small size.
The possibility of heating is minimal and can be additional lowered by reducing the SAR. Artifacts may reduce the image quality a little, but diagnostic brain imaging is certainly possible. The use of a mid or low field MRI machine will also reduce any risks.
Hope this will help.

Radio frequency exposure
If the magnetic field strength (measured in Tesla/Gauss) increases, also the SAR increases. For fields up to 3.0 Tesla, the value of SAR is proportional to the square of the field but at high fields the body becomes increasingly conductive, with the need of increased RF power. The EMF exposure is reduced by the square of the distance.

Hope this will help

Radio frequency exposure
Is there a relationship between SAR and Gauss? A conversion formula? Also, is the EMF exposure reduced by the square or the cube of the distance?

Temperature Monitoring
I am interested in MRI compatible temperature monitoring equipment, mainly used for children. Especially during scans with high SAR I'm interested how much the
temperature increases.
Thanks for any information
