Philips Panorama 1.0T
The hospital where I work is considering the purchase of a new MRI system. They are leaning towards a Philips Panorama 1.0T system. I have hard that there are cumbersome features with regard to the patient table, etc. I have also heard that Hitachi has a new high field open mri that is a better choice. Has anyone worked with either of these machines that can share some good advice with me please? I would appreicate it and thank you in advance.

What Philips calls bandwidth
Hi, what does Philips call receiver bandwidth, and can it be changed on a Philips scanner? We're running a Philips Intera 3.0 T.

Thanks

Improving MEDIC/MERGE/M-ffe and GRE/FFE image quality
I work on an Ingenia Elition Philips scanner. I'm having trouble with Axial C-spine sequences for both M-ffe and FFE. On the M-ffe there is always motion in the cord and the contrast is poor. With the FFE the closer we get to the lungs the worse the quality becomes. There is usually loss of signal and the image doesn't look uniform. I've tried a bunch of different parameter combinations to try giving it more signal and contrast while decreasing the motion in the cord but it never seems to look that good. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Siemens Espree Help
Hello all. My facility switched from Siemens Espree 1.5T to Philips Ingenia 1.5T a year ago. I recently picked up a second job at a small imaging facility. I have forgot almost everything about this machine and the protocols saved on the machine are horrific! The full time tech that works there is green and doesn't know what can and can't be changed.

Does anyone have any protocol information for this machine? I just don't have the time to rebuild all these protocols and am looking for a good base or some that a tech has tuned to their liking. Any help is greatly appreciated!
