Dynamic data of MRI
i almost forgot this post, but the data are still desired! i'm in the research of dynamic mri reconstruction algorithms, maybe we can communicate someday, my email: yingjie.mei@gamil.com.
Thx for ur help.

How to fill the K-space?
Hi,

i've been learning MRI for some weeks, and i really want to know that when we use the spin-echo sequences, how can we fill the data into K-space line by line?

i learned the steps of spatial encoding, but i need the algorithm, or the equations, or the quantitative way to fill the K-space.

thanks a lot!

It means that the matrix is variable, so you can choose to have 256, 260, 264 etc matrixes. This is than again part of how advanced the fourier transformation algorithm is.

Cheers

BTW Matrixes are just a number, and actually say nothing at all regarding resolution...yess FOV devided by matrix gives you a pixel size which is actually the interesting part.

interleaved slices and mean intensity difference in adjacent slices
With interleaved slice acquisition for example in each TR first the odd slices, and then the even slices are acquired. Differences in signal intensity may occur by changes between these acquisitions (like movement), especially with a long TR. In particular, for fMRI sequences with interleaved slice acquisition a slice time correction is recommended to get accurate measurements.
However, I think "large" signal intensity differences with interleaved slices (except fMRI) are rarely seen with usual sequences and sufficient processing (interpolation) algorithms.
