vibe sequences in neuro mri?
I am trying to cut down on time and have read a few articles that talk about mprage and vibe imaging but I am wondering if I can use them for post contrast imaging instead of t 1 sequence on my brain and spine studies. Anyone have any experience or comments about that?

MRI Study Guide
Hi Nicole,

Good news! "The MRI Study Guide for Technologists" by Kenneth Meacham is actually available on Amazon as a first edition right now. I just checked yesterday when another student asked about it.

I used that book when I was studying for my registry years ago and found it really helpful, especially for the physics sections. The practice questions are particularly good for exam prep.

If Amazon doesn't work out for some reason, you might also try reaching out to your program director - many keep extra copies of key texts to loan out. The ARRT forums sometimes have book exchange threads too.

Good luck with your registry prep! Those physics equations can be challenging, but you'll get there. Let me know if you need any specific study tips - I've helped quite a few techs through their exams over the years.

Best wishes,
Dr. Gaurav Pal
