Is Gado listed as a contrast agent or a medicine under the FDA? Is it legal for an mri technologist to inject gado? I know we can inject contrast agents but is gado listed under the FDA as a contrast agent or is it listed as something else?

Mechanical Ventilator outside of Scan room |
Hi Dan,
It is ok. As long as The ventilator and IV pumps not located inside the MRI room. It is safe.

Mechanical Ventilator outside of Scan room |
I recently visited a site where a patient on mechanical ventilation from ICU was having an MRI. The ventilator and IV pumps were located outside the room with the tubing running through two sleeves in the wall (brass or other non-ferrous sleeve) to the patient.
Is this common? Is this safe? Are their problems associated with this?
sorry if I sound ignorant, I am not an MRI tech.

Purchase Decision |
Hello, I am in the process to buy a MRI. I have quotes from GE Signa 1.5T HD, and Siemens Symphony 1.5T (NO TIM)
Can any give me comments about each system? Want to know which system you recommend and why?
Regards
