Brain Protocol
Hi Oscar,
depending of the indication (tumor, stroke, haemorrhage, epilepsy, inflammation, malformation....) different sequences are useful for brain MRI.
A protocol for a wide range of indications: sagittal T2, coronal Flair, transversal DWI and transversal T1 without and with contrast medium. In case of a result a second plane of a T1 sequence after contrast e.g. coronal is recommended.

Temperature Monitoring
I am interested in MRI compatible temperature monitoring equipment, mainly used for children. Especially during scans with high SAR I'm interested how much the
temperature increases.
Thanks for any information

Cardiac Stent
MRI-related problems with metallic prosthetic grafts are the magnetic moment and the heating possibility.
New cardiac stents (produced in the last 5-8 years) are mostly out of non-magnetic material. 2-3 month after the stent implantation it is to expect that stents will be covered with tissue and a movement in the magnetic field is unusual. A small risk of heating caused by induction remains
(the risk depends on the field strength and the scanned region) - but the fast flowing blood is a good cooling system and reduces this risk in addition.

Claustrophobia
I 'm claustrophobic and supposed to get an MRI examination of the liver.
The second problem consists in my weighting of 150 kg. I heard about the open MRI devices. Who is also not a lightweight and has experience with an open MRI examination of the liver?
