MRI Claustrophobia Interview Request
My name is Sion Emlyn Rogers, I am currently a student at the Columbia University Journalism School

I am doing a piece on MRI Claustrophobia and how people cope with it. I am looking for people who have experienced this condition who would be willing to be interviewed (this is a print article).

I would ask them to describe the experience, how it affected them, do they feel reluctant to be scanned etc.

Many thanks

Sion Rogers

MRI Marker
Are there any MRI markers that are visible on all sequences, small, flat, cheap and self-adhesive?
Vitamin E or fish oil capsules work mostly well, but the signal is suppressed on sequences with fat saturation.
To mark a small region they are too big and
dent the skin where fixed.

Thankful for every suggestion and friendly greetings to all.

ARMRIT Parenteral Procedures
Hi Folks,

As an ARMRIT technologist; the small clinic I work for is concerned about allowing me to contrast patients as a non-ARRT person. In Washington State, it is my understanding that RT's are legally allowed to push contrast and is common practice.

I read that ARRT now accepts MR as a primary pathway to registration, but I am concerned if I am eligible. Any advice there on the side?

It dawned on me that this may be a problem other ARMRIT's. Any tips?

Thanks a bunch!

MRI Study Guide
I am currently studying for the MRI registry. I am looking for "The MRI Study Guide for Technologists" by Kenneth Meacham. It is currently out of print, and I have been unable to find a copy. Does someone have an old copy that they wouldn't mind parting with?
Thank you in advance.
